PRE/POST SURVEYS
Before and after each Parent Night presentation, we invite parents to complete a survey covering topics such as their knowledge of GDL laws, communication of driving expectations, and suggestions for improvement. The graph below illustrates the average scores from the pre- and post-surveys, highlighting changes in awareness and engagement.
Also, see below for a sample of some direct quotes from parents sharing their insights and experiences.

I think that the videos showing the importance of driving distracted and driving impaired drives home how quickly you can change someone's life, or your own.
It was very straightforward, it didn't cut corners and it was serious without being frightening. It was helpful in bringing awareness to possibilities often avoided by new drivers.
Learning that I can get resources to receive tips on driving senarios, that I can then discuss with my teen. That I'm to continue teaching my teen even after he gets his licence. The GDL rules especially the ones for after he gets his license. The reminder of the dangers and responsibility of driving. Even as an experienced driver I have recommitted to driving more safely because of attending this presentation.
It was great! The content was vital, the presentation was very well organized, and I loved that parent attendance was required. It gave me ideas about what to discuss with my son, and served as a fantastic reminder of how I should be driving as well!
Learning side by side with my teen so we can hold each other accountable for our actions.
